LA CALA DE MIJAS – Mini Tourist Guide
La Cala de Mijas is the coastal resort between Malaga and Marbella.
Well known for its small micro climate of beautiful restaurants and bars within this old Spanish cove, La Cala de Mijas has a beautiful beach setting and Paseo marítimo that offers great outdoor terrain for easy traveling either being pushed along in a manual wheelchair or even electric mobility scooters and electric wheelchairs.
Only having a radius zone of around 12 km, it’s easy to travel around the whole of La Cala on those warm summer nights.
Only being a few minutes drive from its neighboring town of Fuengirola, you are never stuck for amenities or entertainment.
You will find a health center within La Cala de Mijas so if there are ever any unfortunate needs whilst on holiday there, you can feel safe there is always a doctor at hand.
As the landscape is generally flat, even the smaller mobility scooter that we offer from our rental fleet is quite sufficient for general use. However, as we state on the website, the comfort mobility scooter is generally recommended if there are no real size restrictions, simply to allow a longer battery range and a more comfortable and enjoyable riding experience for our client.
